Join a company is a school year long commitment. Parent participation is vital.
CORNERSTONE PERFORMANCE COMPANY will rehearse Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:30 for the 2022-23 school year. This year's theme is RETRO! We are going to cut footloose and bring it back ya'll.

CPC class tuition is just like any other week day class with an additional $100 CPC fee per year. There is no additional recital fee for CPC class and we will use costumes we have used year round for recital. We will hold special performances in our community throughout the school year and end our year with our annual Hershey Park performance. For rehearsals all students should be ready to dance and dressed as such: leotards, leggings/athletic pants, Cornerstone/Jubilee Performance shirt and arrive on time. Any schedule conflicts should be submitted in advance.

Please begin learning these songs ASAP. Familiarizing yourself with th emusic/lyrics not only helps us progress as a group but also helps you with prep re: roles/solos to be auditioned for in class. Remember, in CPC songs can be taken out of the context of the show so parts that may be male vs female or ensemble vs solo could be the opposite, etc.

CORNERSTONE PERFORMANCE COMPANY:
The CORNERSTONE PERFORMANCE COMPANY is designed to be a musical theatre program for students who are passionate about performing. In addition to taking weekly technique classes in dance/theatre these students come together once a week to focus on performance technique and build skill in quick paced choreography, vocal technique and memorization as well as comfort and preparation in auditioning. Ultimately these students commiserate as a troupe to achieve a performing arts repertoire that can be performed anytime, anywhere.
We will host a fun performance as a fundraiser to increase CPC assets each year.
Students must be at least eight years old or by audition and take direction well. The troupe goes through college age.
Students must register for the entire school year and take a weekly eligible dance technique class with us to be eligible for CPC.
JUBILEE PRAISE COMPANY:
Our goal is to spread good news of Christ through the performing arts.
JUBILEE YOUTH CHOIR

Wednesdays 5:30-6:30
Mrs. Longmire has always loved singing and accompanying choirs, with over 25 years of experience as a choral accompanist. She directed the Wesley Foundation choir at James Madison University, and has sung in choirs from childhood through her college years. She continues to accompany choirs in Fairfax and Loudoun County public schools. She is thrilled for the opportunity to share her love of the choral arts with children.

CORNERSTONE BALLET COMPANY:
For students who are passionate about dance and performance. In addition to taking at least one dance technique class weekly students will learn new choreography and dances to present for special performances. Good attendance is vital.

NUTCRACKER AUDITION INFORMATION
Welcome to our wonderful rendition of THE NUTCRACKER. All Cornerstone and Jubilee classes will feature in this performance. This audition is specifically for principal roles and special/additional roles.
Doors open at 9:00am on September 10. Please sign in upon arrival. Auditions for ALL AGES begin at 9:30am. Dancers will be released throughout the morning with the last group of dancers ending tentatively by 12:00pm. Please wear classic Ballet attire with hair in a bun. Bring Pointe shoes and all other dance shoe genres if applicable.
Below you will find the audition form which you can fill out and bring to your audition.
The cast list will be sent out no later than Thursday, September 15 with the first rehearsal taking place Friday, September 16.
